July 9, 2025Built a Home Project
For families living in broken shelters, makeshift huts, or under open skies, the idea of a safe, dignified home often feels like a distant dream. Harsh weather, lack of privacy, and unsafe conditions put vulnerable lives—especially women, children, and the elderly—at constant risk.
To restore hope and security to these families, FMS Welfare Trust launched the Built a Home Project. This initiative is dedicated to constructing simple, solid homes for the poorest of the poor—families who have long endured homelessness, flood damage, or extreme poverty with nowhere safe to call their own.
Why This Project Matters
A home isn’t just four walls—it’s safety, stability, and the foundation for a better future. Without a proper roof, even food, education, and healthcare become secondary struggles. Through this project, we aim to replace crumbling shacks and tents with lasting homes that offer warmth, protection, and dignity.
Each home is:
- Built with durable materials suited for the local environment
- Equipped with basic amenities (electricity, water, ventilation where possible)
- Designed to accommodate small families comfortably
- Constructed with transparency and community participation
Rebuilding Lives, One Home at a Time
This mission is inspired by the compassion of Shri Hasan Nawaz Khan, who firmly believed that shelter is a basic right. His legacy drives this effort to ensure no human being sleeps without protection from the elements or fear of the night.
The project not only rebuilds structures—it rebuilds hope, restores dignity, and reignites dreams.
Help Us Build More Homes
You can support this impactful initiative by:
- Sponsoring the construction of a complete home
- Donating funds for roofing, doors, or foundation

Together, we can turn dust into dignity, and shelter into a sanctuary.
Be the reason someone sleeps in peace tonight.
