July 9, 2025Ramzan Iftari Project
As the sun sets during the sacred month of Ramzan, families around the world gather with gratitude to break their fast. But for thousands living in poverty, Iftari is not a time of celebration—it’s a reminder of hunger. Many have no assurance of a proper meal to end their day of fasting, despite the immense spiritual effort they’ve put forth.
To restore dignity, comfort, and joy at this blessed hour, FMS Welfare Trust initiated the Ramzan Iftari Project. Each evening during Ramzan, we provide wholesome, ready-to-eat Iftari meals to individuals and families in need—at mosques, roadside tents, orphanages, and low-income homes.
Why This Project Matters
Breaking the fast with dignity is a right every fasting soul deserves. The Iftari Project brings relief to laborers, widows, orphans, and struggling families who would otherwise go without. Our carefully prepared Iftari packs ensure that even those facing economic hardship can experience the spiritual and physical blessings of Iftari.
Each Iftari box typically includes:
- Dates & seasonal fruit
- Water or Rooh Afza drink
- Rice or biryani
- Roti with curry or kebabs
- Sweets or snacks for energy
These are distributed with love, respect, and care—right before Maghrib.
Carrying the Legacy of Service
This initiative reflects the compassionate vision of Shri Hasan Nawaz Khan, who emphasized feeding the fasting as one of the greatest charitable acts. His legacy of service continues to inspire every Iftari meal shared under the FMS banner.
You Can Share the Blessings
You can contribute to the Ramzan Iftari Project by:
- Sponsoring Iftari meals for individuals or full families
- Donating in memory of a loved one
- Supporting large-scale Iftari events in your name or your business’s name
Let’s break the fast together—not just with food, but with unity, compassion, and care.
Your support ensures no one is left out this Ramzan.
