In communities where unemployment and financial insecurity are common, many individuals—especially breadwinners—struggle to provide for their families due to the lack of viable work opportunities. Traditional employment options are often scarce, and for those without formal education or training, the dream of financial independence can feel unreachable.
To combat this challenge, FMS Welfare Trust has launched a powerful initiative: Small Business Support. Through this program, we empower individuals—especially those from low-income households—to build their own micro-enterprises such as snack stalls, pushcarts, tea kiosks, and other small-scale businesses. The aim is to restore dignity through self-reliance and create sustainable sources of income.
Why This Project Matters
Micro-businesses are often the lifeblood of economically struggling communities. However, lack of capital, mentorship, and access to supplies keep many from getting started. By offering startup kits, business training, and follow-up support, FMS Welfare Trust helps participants turn their ideas into stable livelihoods. This not only uplifts families but strengthens the local economy.
Our support helps people who want to work but lack the initial investment. With just a cart and some supplies, a parent can start earning from day one—serving tea, snacks, or essentials to their neighborhood, creating a ripple effect of empowerment.

This mission is inspired by the vision of Shri Hasan Nawaz Khan, whose compassion for the underserved continues to fuel impactful change. He believes that empowering individuals to earn with dignity is the most sustainable form of charity.
Under his guidance, FMS Welfare Trust has helped launch dozens of micro-businesses—and we aim to support hundreds more across Hyderabad and beyond.
Each participant receives:
- A business starter kit (cart/stall + supplies)
- Basic business training
