FMS Bore Well Project
May 4, 2014Shabeena, a 38-year-old mother of four, lives in a single-room home in a low-income colony in Hyderabad. Her husband, a daily-wage worker, often returns home without any earnings. During the COVID-19 lockdown, their situation became dire—they were eating one meal a day and borrowing from neighbors just to feed the children.
That’s when FMS Welfare Trust stepped in with a ration kit containing rice, wheat flour, pulses, oil, tea, and essentials that lasted her family nearly a month. Since then, she has received regular ration support every few months.
“I cannot express what it feels like when someone knocks on your door with food, without expecting anything in return. FMS gave us dignity along with rations. May Allah reward them,” she said with tears in her eyes.
