Ramzan Saheri Project
July 9, 2025Location: Urban slums and rural areas across Hyderabad, including Old City neighborhoods and remote villages in Telangana, India
In many marginalized communities, access to clean and decent clothing is a daily challenge. Families living below the poverty line often have to choose between food and basic necessities—making clothing a neglected need. Children go to school in worn-out uniforms, elders wear tattered garments through harsh weather, and women lack dignified attire for public life.
To address this growing issue, FMS Welfare Trust initiated the Clothes Distribution Project — a compassionate effort to restore dignity and comfort to those in need. Through this program, we collect, organize, and distribute clean and usable clothes to underprivileged individuals across Hyderabad and its surrounding rural regions.
Why This Project Matters
Clothing is more than fabric—it’s warmth during winter, modesty in public, and dignity in daily life. For children, it means attending school with confidence. For adults, it means walking to work or prayer without shame. For everyone, it’s a step toward equal opportunity and self-respect.
FMS Welfare Trust conducts regular drives to:
- Collect gently-used or new clothing from generous donors
- Sort and sanitize clothes to ensure quality and hygiene
- Organize distributions in slums, orphanages, shelters, and flood-affected areas
Each distribution is conducted with care and respect, ensuring recipients receive items suitable to their size, season, and age.
Inspired by Humanity
This mission reflects the values of our founder, Shri Hasan Nawaz Khan, who believed that no one should be deprived of basic human needs—especially something as fundamental as clothing. His spirit of service continues to guide every distribution effort we undertake.
With a dedicated team of volunteers, FMS Welfare Trust ensures that clothes reach the people who need them most—quietly, consistently, and without judgment.
You Can Make a Difference
You can support this project by:
- Donating clothes in good condition (children’s, women’s, men’s wear)
- Contributing funds to help us purchase new clothing for special cases (orphans, weddings, Eid)
- Partnering with us for community-based distribution drives
Every shirt, sweater, or sari can bring warmth, confidence, and hope.
Let’s cover those who are uncovered—with compassion and dignity.
Together, we can wrap the underserved in care.
