FMS Marriage Support Programme

Access to essential medication is a basic human right—but for millions in India, it remains a daily struggle. From the elderly and chronically ill to underprivileged families and individuals living below the poverty line, many cannot afford even the most basic medicines. The inability to buy prescribed drugs leads to worsening health conditions, avoidable complications, and sometimes even death.
At FMS Welfare Trust, we believe that no one should suffer or die simply because they cannot afford medicine. Our Medication Distribution Programme is a mission-driven initiative to ensure that the most vulnerable individuals in our communities receive the life-saving medicines they need—free of cost.
Why This Programme Matters
In India, healthcare access is heavily skewed toward those who can afford it. While government hospitals provide free or subsidised services, the availability of medicines is often inconsistent. Many patients—especially the elderly, orphans, widows, daily wage labourers, and those with chronic illnesses like diabetes, hypertension, asthma, or heart conditions—struggle to buy medicines regularly.
For families already grappling with low income, choosing between food and medication is a harsh reality. Ignoring treatment leads to hospitalisations, which are costlier and more devastating for the poor. Our programme aims to break this cycle by offering consistent support where it’s needed most.
What We Provide
Through our Medication Distribution Programme, FMS Welfare Trust distributes:
Chronic illness medications (e.g., for diabetes, blood pressure, heart diseases)
Over-the-counter essentials (painkillers, antibiotics, fever reducers, multivitamins)
Emergency medicines (based on need and doctor’s prescription)
Basic medical kits for the elderly and low-income families
We work with local doctors, clinics, and community volunteers to identify patients in need, verify their conditions, and distribute medicines either monthly or on a case-by-case basis.
Real Impact
Our programme has already supported hundreds of individuals across Telangana and nearby regions. From elderly parents living alone to single mothers caring for ill children, we have become a trusted name in healthcare aid.
One of our beneficiaries shared:
“I had to skip my blood pressure medicine for days because I couldn’t afford it. FMS Welfare Trust gave me hope and the help I desperately needed. Now, I never miss a dose.”
